IN addition to the private messages I've gotten, tons of people send me messages begging for new houses. Almost every single day I get a long sob story from someone who believes a blogger named Bee's Knees on Aidpage is in charge of ABC Family, and has the power to make their dreams come true. If I could turn back time, I would never have posted that darn thing in the first place. I wish I could take it off. I wish people would simply read what they are responding to!
in response to Dobguy1...hahahah sure! NO problem! Ok, but why didn't you ask for a pool and tennis court too? Everyone knows I have a huge mansion, like Brad and Angie do, and I can give you any type of house you want!
in response to Pastor's Wife...I'll pray God provides for your church. He really does always take care of us! This is only a blog. We have no connection with Extreme Makeover Home Edition. I do believe they are ending the show and no longer taking applications, but you should still check out their website.
in response to pj23...I'm sorry to hear that. This is a really tough time of year for everyone, because of the cold, and because it is right after Christmas. I pray you get the help you need.
It is very unusual that your Salvation Army and power company won't help you out.
All of them usually do.
in response to bookworm2011...My family doesn't like it when there are no snacks either, but I have weaned them off of them almost entirely now, because, the truth is, it won't hurt them to not eat sweets. In fact, sugar is the major cause of most sickness, since it is poison, and kicks the heck out of our immune systems! I'm so glad the green tea and stevia help you! It IS hard to remember to drink all that water, since you are a busy lady! Hang in there and it WILL come off!
in response to janet jackson...I am a blogger. If you click the link in the post above, you may be able to visit ABC family's website and apply for a makeover for you home. God bless you.
in response to lynn's angel...Maam, this is a blog. I'm sorry for the confusion. There is a link to the ABC family website in the post above that you may click to visit and apply.
in response to tia77...Hi, Tianna
This is a blog. We cannot give you a home. I wish we could. I believe Extreme Makeover Home Edition is ending soon, but you may want to check out their website and see if you can still apply.
God bless you.

I hear you.
Have you spoken with the power co yet? They usually have some phone numbers of assistance places. Also, your local Chamber of Commerce can hook you up with info on that. I've been helped on my elec bill in the past by the Salvation Army.
Also, I saw a commercial on TV recently for a free cell phone with 250 mins a month on it for anyone qualifying for Medicaid or foodstamps. I've heard about this before, but had forgotten about it. I'm going to look into this and see if and how it's possible. If it pans out, I'll post about it. Lots of us could really use that!
The thing that is bothering me most about the money situation is you having no heat this time of year. The worst part of the whole entire thing is your husband being hurt.
I pray the Creator of all things will help you!
I wish I could!
He sees you. He loves you. He knew this would happen. He will make a way for your survival.
in response to father of 2 kids...Hi, Morgan
Here is an idea.
My parents had huge medical bills. They went to the hospital and filled out tons of paperwork and got them reduced very drastically, by proving they couldn't pay. The hospital paid them with grants or wrote them off as losses. I'm not exactly sure how they were able to do it, but there is a way. Of course, unless you investigate and dig, they won't offer.
If you think about it, there have to be lots of people who go through this each year and some way of the hospital handling it.
It is worth a shot, in my opinion.
I hope this will help you.
in response to bookworm2011...Hi, Char. Sorry for the delay in answering. Ever notice how Aip sometimes tells you there are messages, then, after you open and read one, it tells you there are no more? I just ran across this message from you that I never even read before, so I'm assuming that is what happened.
I know. It is sooooo hard to cook or bake for others when you are not allowed to have any! But, when you are in the zone, you are in the zone!
Keep going! You CAN get down to the pre-baby weight again! I did.
I can't wait to see the after picture!
You should report it to the Better Business Bureau. Tell them everything that was said and agreed upon, how you sent the money, and what phone number and contact info they used. Chances are, you will never see that money again, but you may be able to stop them from stealing again.
in response to georgette7...Thanks, Georgette. I do think it helps when people can see it is a real need, and that it goes directly to pay that need, instead of just a random person's account. Scammers have been here and tricked people into giving them lots of money in the past. We've lost many good contributors because of that. When new contributors join, and ask me how to tell which people have real needs, a good rule of thumb is seeing that some needs are real and having proof (like when the bill is paid directly.) so you have a good point.
in response to georgette7...What I am saying is that money is not often exchanged here in any way (direct gifts, grants, paying of bills, etc...) I understand you are asking for tax help. Everyone seems to be struggling right now, especially this time of year. Many are disabled, homeless, have no food, etc....
We have no idea which contributors happen to be reading the posts and are financially able and willint to help. Sometimes this does happen, but most of the time, we try to swap helpful info, resources for help through different organizations, etc...(usually the people who need help the very most are helped in those cases)
We have no access to any cash other than whatever we each earn via our own jobs.
Many times people have the misconception that we work for a large corporation and are able to distribute funds from a large account.
I hope this information helps.
I wish I could be of more help.
I know how it feels to be hassled for payments due.
God bless you.
in response to StrongBear...Hello, StronBear,
I was losing my house when I found this site. I was not sure what it was at first. I have never been given a grant here. I found out the people here help one another as they can. Some have been given cash assistance by other members, but mostly I see people giving one another support and information. Many contributors have taken the time to research different topics and are able to point others in the right direction for help.
in response to georgette...We can help you with ideas about how to find resources for aid, but we cannot guarantee you will be gifted cash. Each of us gives as we are able.
in response to hoffa...HCG is fairly cheap and fast, although, to make it work, you do need to do it for a minimum of 23 doses, I think (3 doses a day). Another one that totally works is low carb. I have to run right now, but will be back soon...
in response to badgirl...Maam, I'm so sorry, but you have mistaken me, a blogger, for a TV show. Go to the Extreme Makeover Website and apply. God bless you.
in response to bookworm2011...Wahooooooo!!!!!!!!!!! That is so great! I'm so glad to hear it! I'm proud of you! Now, just beware that your rate of loss may slow a little after the first week, but do not be discouraged and do not give up! Most importantly, do NOT listen to people trying to discourage you! Remember, if you cheat, it not only will slow down your loss, but if the cheat is great enough, it will cause you to gain. Some cheats cause a several lb gain and take 3 days to get back to where you were.
Also, if you hit a plateau, where you have stayed the same weight for several days, ditch the shrimp, oranges, and tomatoes, since they have been known to hold people up.
You can totally do this!!!!!!!!!!!!
Keep reporting back--please!
I love hearing about your success!
